We know this industry. We also know your kids.
Sprout is a children's modeling and talent agency built around something pretty simple: know the kids you represent, know the industry you're sending them into, and take both seriously.
Sprout didn't startwith a business plan.It started with experience.
After two decades in this industry, Shaina had seen the business from nearly every angle — behind the camera, alongside clients and creatives, as an agent, and eventually as a parent herself.
Sprout grew out of all of it.
The things that worked. The things that didn't. The relationships that matter. And the belief that kids and their families deserved representation that felt a little more personal.
Because this business moves fast. There are castings, callbacks, holds, bookings, contracts, long days, early call times, last-minute changes and about a thousand industry terms nobody explains to you when you start.
But behind all of that is still a kid.
That's something we never want to lose sight of.
Today, Sprout represents children across multiple markets while staying rooted in the same idea it started with: know our talent, communicate with our families, build strong industry relationships, and make decisions with the long-term best interest of the children we represent in mind.

SHAINA
Sprout starts with Shaina.
With two decades of industry experience, Shaina has seen this business from nearly every angle — behind the camera, alongside clients and creatives, as an agent, and as a parent herself.
That combination matters. She understands what makes talent stand out, what clients and casting teams are looking for, what happens behind the scenes to get a child from submission to set, and what families need in order to navigate this industry well.
Shaina founded Sprout with the belief that representation should be personal. Not just submitting kids and hoping something sticks, but actually knowing the children we represent, understanding where they fit, building real industry relationships, and making decisions with the long-term best interest of our talent and families in mind.
Today, she oversees Sprout as a whole — the agency's direction, client and industry relationships, standards, strategy, and the bigger decisions that shape how we operate and grow.
Emily works closely with Sprout talent and families on the day-to-day side of representation — from castings, availability and bookings to profiles, photos, casting accounts and development.
With a background in modeling and more than a decade of industry experience, she understands this business from both sides of the camera. That perspective shapes the way she works with talent: helping families understand not only what they need to do, but why it matters.
If you've received a casting, need help getting your child's materials where they need to be, want to talk development, or are trying to figure out what comes next, there's a very good chance you'll be talking to Emily.
EMILY
KATHY
Kathy handles the accounting and payment side of the agency. Payments, checks, payment status, invoices, accounting questions, and payment paperwork all go through Kathy.
Depends what's going on.

Agency leadership, significant concerns, agency-level decisions, client and industry relationships, and matters requiring the Agency Director.
Emily

If Emily checks your availability, places you on hold, or sends your booking information, respond to Emily. If Shaina sends you that information, respond to Shaina. Both agents are working on different projects, and the person contacting you is the person actively handling that project.
Let's talk about the 20%.
For most non-union Sprout bookings, there are two separate 20% amounts:
Client Agency Fee — 20%
This is paid by the client on top of the talent's rate. It is not taken from your child's stated talent rate.
Talent Commission — 20%
This is the commission the represented talent pays Sprout from their earnings according to their representation agreement.
These are two separate agency income streams.
If your child's talent rate is $1,000:
The client may be billed:
- $1,000 Talent Rate
- + $200 Client Agency Fee
- = $1,200 Client Invoice
The talent's commission is calculated separately:
- $1,000 Talent Rate
- − $200 Talent Commission
- = $800 to Talent before applicable payroll taxes, deductions, or other job-specific adjustments.
When a casting says "+20% agency fee," that does not mean an additional 20% is being taken out of your child's rate.
The client agency fee is paid by the client in addition to the talent rate.
Project terms can vary. Always review the specific rate information provided for each booking.
